Holy Water Font with the Holy Family

This holy water font bears the Holy Family, a motif of family values, care, and God’s presence in daily life.

Holy water font at the entrance to a prayer space

It is intended for storing holy water and making the Sign of the Cross at the entrance to a place of prayer. Because of its compact dimensions, it can easily be placed at the entrance to a chapel, sacristy, house of prayer, or private home. It is intended for churches, chapels, sacristies, religious houses, private chapels, and the homes of the faithful as an expression of remembrance of God’s presence and spiritual preparation for prayer.

The Holy Family motif and its symbolism

The central motif is an image of Mary, Saint Joseph, and the Child Jesus. Carefully rendered details of the garments, halos, and faces give the depiction a solemn yet warm expression. The depiction gives the piece a deep religious character. The golden sheen of the brass emphasizes its sacred character, and the font has an elegant appearance in both church and home settings.
