Gold-Plated Metal Ciborium with IHS, Holy Name of Jesus

This small, practical gold-plated ciborium bears IHS, a Christological symbol of the Holy Name of Jesus, and is intended for storing and carrying hosts.

Use during visits to the sick and Holy Communion

Because of its compact dimensions, it is intended for priestly ministry outside the church, especially visits to the sick and the distribution of Holy Communion outside a permanent liturgical space.

It is also suitable for sick-visit sets, liturgical burses, mission cases, and the distribution of Holy Communion in the field.

IHS engraving and the gold-plated finish

On the lid, the IHS motif appears as a delicate engraving that emphasizes the vessel's sacred character. The gold-plated finish gives it an elegant, dignified appearance.

Ciborium: material, dimensions and form

The metal construction provides durability and ease of use. Its lidded design helps keep the hosts safely stored during transport, and its small size allows it to fit easily in a burse, a liturgical case, or a set for ministry to the sick.
