This ciborium is intended for distributing Holy Communion under both kinds during Mass and solemn Eucharistic celebrations.
Ciborium for Communion Under Both Kinds in the liturgy
The gold-plated ciborium is an elegant, multifunctional Eucharistic vessel. Made from polished brass with a gold-plated finish, it has a refined sheen, classic form, and carefully executed finish that emphasize the solemn character of the liturgy.
The removable host ring, chalice, and paten make it possible to prepare and distribute Holy Communion under the forms of bread and wine. The ring holds approximately 150 hosts, supporting convenient preparation during Eucharistic celebrations.
After the inner accessories are removed, the vessel can hold approximately 300 hosts. It can therefore serve as a traditional ciborium for storing hosts and the Blessed Sacrament, including in the tabernacle.
The removable host ring, chalice, and paten also allow the vessels to be conveniently prepared for the liturgy. The piece is intended for use in a church, chapel, or sacristy, both during daily celebrations and during ceremonies attended by a larger number of the faithful.
Cross, gold finish, and vessel form
The wide, rounded bowl has a smooth, lustrous surface and a fitted lid topped with a decorative cross. An ornamental nodus beneath the bowl and a stable, shaped foot complete the form.
During solemn Eucharistic celebrations, the gold color, high-gloss surface, and subtle ornamentation give the whole vessel a representative character. Its polished brass construction, classic form, and gold-plated finish complement the other liturgical vessels.
