Our Lady of Częstochowa and the Marian monogram
The central element on the front is an image of Our Lady of Częstochowa with the Child Jesus, inspired by the famous icon of Our Lady of Jasna Góra. Mary is shown in richly decorated robes, with her characteristic dark face and a radiant halo. The image uses shades of gold, brown, black, and ecru, creating a harmonious composition with the chasuble’s light-colored fabric.
The back is decorated with a prominent embroidered Marian monogram topped with a royal crown. Made with gold threads and enriched with decorative floral motifs and subtle color accents, this intricate ornament emphasizes the royal dignity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It creates a cohesive composition that combines traditional Marian iconography with elegant liturgical ornamentation.
The light ecru fabric, broad gold finishing, and rich ornamentation create a solemn, noble character that complements the beauty of Marian liturgy. The image of Our Lady of Jasna Góra on the front and Mary’s royal monogram on the back unite deep religious symbolism, traditional liturgical art, and elegant design, emphasizing the special place of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the life of the Church.
Fabric, collar and gold finishing
The construction and finishing combine a classic, generous shape with carefully completed decorative elements. The ecru and gold palette provides a dignified setting for important Marian celebrations.
The chasuble is carefully packed and properly protected during transport to preserve the attractive appearance of the fabric and the beauty of its decorative ornamentation. Its Marian symbolism and elegant workmanship also make it suitable as a gift for a priest, parish, or shrine.
Fabric: High-quality ecru fabric with a subtle texture drapes attractively, emphasizes the classic chasuble cut, and allows freedom of movement during celebrations.
Image: The centrally placed Black Madonna with the Child Jesus refers faithfully to the traditional iconography of Jasna Góra. The rich details of the robes, crowns, and radiant halos give the image a distinctive sacred character.
Back embroidery: The Marian monogram is finished with a decorative royal crown. Gold-thread embroidery with floral ornaments forms a distinctive element of the back.
Gold bands: Wide bands of gold fabric decorate the lower part of the chasuble and the sleeve edges. Their delicate sheen contrasts with the light-colored material and gives the chasuble a solemn appearance.
Gold trim: Carefully selected tape with a subtle decorative pattern finishes the collar and the points where the gold elements meet the main fabric, highlighting the elegance and precision of the workmanship.
Stand-up collar: The classic raised collar is ecru and finished with gold fabric and delicate trim, completing the design.
Cut: The classic, loose shape provides wearing comfort and allows the fabric to drape elegantly during the celebration of the Eucharist.
Color: Ecru and gold form a timeless combination that emphasizes the solemn character of Marian celebrations.
