Original reliquary in the shape of a Tau cross. All decorated with artistic indentations. To the first Christians the letter TAU, as the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet, reminded them of the fulfillment of revelation, redemption and parousia. The indefatigable propagator of the cult of the TAU sign and cross was Saint Francis. It was about the Tau sign that he spoke in his speeches and signed letters with it. TAU reminds us of the great Christian truth that our lives are redeemed by Christ's love for humanity.
